Get students to listen to the tape and get familiar with the passage by answering some question.

Get students to do LET’S DO IT using the expression they have learned and also their imagination.

T: In Lesson 50, Danny’s grandmother wrote him a letter about his Great Great Grandpa Rex. But she didn’t talk about Danny’s great great grandmother. Imagine what his great great grandmother was like. Share your idea with a partner.

A Sample Version:

Dear Danny,

I will tell you something about your great great grandmother. Her name is Mary. She was a teacher with a pair of glasses on her nose. She was very beautiful. She was not tall. She came from Sweden too. Mary was very warm-hearted. She was always ready to helps others. All the people there love her very much.

She had a lot of hobbies. She loved music, dancing, writing and cooking. She danced well and wrote some articles for some magazines. We liked her food very much.

So much about your great great grandmother, Mary. We all love her very much.
